Long live the lucky ones
To mark the 10th anniversary of Paco Rabannes Million fragrance line come two new iconic fragrances, 1 Million Lucky and Lady Million Lucky
It was Coco Chanel who first christened Paco Rabanne, “the metallurgist”, an epithet that became embodied in the distinctive gold ingot bottle of the original 1 Million fragrance in 2008. It was a reputation that Rabanne revelled in, once creating a dress for Françoise Hardy that contained 9 kilos of gold and 300 carats of diamonds. It was said to be so heavy that the French chanteuse could hardly walk in it.
10 years on, in a nod to the marque’s rich heritage, the gold ingot has been upgraded to an even more opulent Platinum for two new ‘his and hers’ additions to the Million family: 1 Million Lucky and Lady Million Lucky.
Do you feel lucky?
Launched with a groundbreaking new campaign from visionary fashion photographer, Nathaniel Goldberg, the Million Lucky fragrances bring the Million range to a brand new generation of stylistas. And the brand clearly has a hit on their hands. The brand video has already racked up over 3 million views on YouTube.
1 Million Lucky
A rich, masculine fragrance, characterised by woody hazelnut and zesty plum, 1 Million Lucky is embodied by upcoming Australian model Jordan Barrat (@iblamejordan). At 21 Barrat has been hailed by Vogue as the “it boy of the new era” and with almost 800,000 instagram followers eagerly consuming his every update, it can only be a matter of time before Hollywood comes calling.
Lady Million Lucky
22 year old Sophia Ahrens (@sophiaahrens) is the new face of Lady Million Lucky. With her razor sharp cheekbones and willowy physique, the relative newcomer is making waves in the fashion world with a powerfully confident aura that is pure Paco Rabanne. Like the fragrance she fronts, she is unapologetically authentic with a vibrant, thrilling sensuality. Truly, she is one in a million.
With Million Lucky, Paco Rabanne have left nothing to chance - iconic packaging combines with authentic style and fresh notes for a new generation. If life is a game, it’s time to get Lucky.
