Technology is the key to the creation of Vernis à Lèvres Water Stain. The innovative formula, containing up to 40% water, offers lightweight coverage, creating a smoothing comfort, with a non-sticky finish. This is why Vernis à Lèvres Water Stain is so easy to layer.
To obtain the desired look, you can apply one individual layer, which will provide a touch of colour with a glossy finish. You can also build up the coverage by applying two or three layers to deepen the colour, a look that is both cutting-edge and sophisticated.
The wave-inspired applicator has been designed to help distribute the gloss evenly, adapting to the natural curve of your lips for precise application. Staz is the daughter of Dire Straits guitar player Hal Lindes. She also plays the guitar, as well as being a photographer and model. “During my high school years, I’d copy the style of French actresses from the Sixties — the very actresses that [Monsieur] Saint Laurent had dressed. So I’ve always felt a natural affinity with the brand,” said Staz about her new role for the French House.
She shares the campaign with another woman from a rock’n’roll family. Zoë Kravitz is the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet (the actress who became famous after playing Bill Cosby’s eldest daughter in The Cosby Show for 6 years).
Zoë is now one of the five stars in Big Little Lies, a tremendously successful HBO series, now on its second season. “In terms of makeup, I always try and tell people that I think makeup should be used to highlight the things that you love about yourself, not to cover up who you are or what you look like. I also think that beauty is a quality. When I see somebody being their authentic selves and being kind, I think that is what makes people beautiful. I actually don’t think it’s possible to be beautiful if you’re an unkind person.”, Zoë recently told Vogue Magazine.
