Marc Jacobs new, irresistibly youthful scent, Daisy Love proves life’s a beach.
Marc Jacobs has spent over 30 years in the fashion industry and is still pushing boundaries, season after season. And 2018 is no exception as he introduces a new, radiant addition to his iconic Daisy line, Daisy Love.
Created by Spanish-born, perfume maestro Alberto Morillas, a long-time Jacobs collaborator, this sweet scent, containing notes of cloudberries, daisy tree petals, and a warm cashmere musks with driftwood. Designed to evoke sun reflecting on ocean under clear blue skies, it reflects the Morillas’s ethos perfectly.
“I like everything that would evoke the Mediterranean Sea, with the deep blue water, the sun and the nature which goes with it”. Morillas says.
This year’s model
It’s a theme that is brought to life in the vibrant campaign shoot, helmed by celebrated British photographer, Alasdair McLellan and starring the 16-year-old brand muse Kaia Gerber. And if Gerber looks familiar to you, it may just be because she is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, all-American it-girl and Daily Front Row’s Breakthrough Model of the Year (2016). She’s also the current face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. But you probably already knew that, right?
