This rare release, an exceptionally smooth 15 year old Speyside malt, monogrammed with the family initials (J for James, G for Grant and R for his wife Rose) is an occasional addition to the core 10, 12 and 18 Year Old age range. With bigger, bolder flavours, bottled at cask strength (50% ABV rather than 43%), this characterful malt is matured in American white oak, first-fill bourbon casks. From the award winning Glen Grant distillers, the intense flavour profile is full of citrus fruit and toffee tones that leaves spiced pears and a hint of tangerine on the palate while nuts and vanilla come through in the soft finish.
