The Fragrance

Like its three predecessors in the My Burberry fragrance family, My Burberry Blush takes its cue from the quintessential London garden. It captures the vibrancy of the garden early in the morning, as the sun begins to appear above the horizon and the flowers open their petals to the sky. It’s bursting at the seams with effervescent lemon, rose petal, geranium, crisp green apple, jasmine and wisteria. It’s difficult to imagine an occasion where this fragrance would be out of place. Its lively, fruity opening and the soft floral notes that linger on the skin make for a brilliant everyday scent, but an even better travel fragrance – with its uplifting and comforting notes, My Burberry Blush will make the ultimate travelling companion.

The Perfumer

It is by no means an exaggeration to say that Francis Kurkdjian is one of our generation’s finest perfumers. He is the man behind more than a handful of cult and classic perfumes, as well as the author of his own fragrance brand; there’s a good chance that one or two of your perfumes were created by his hands – or more accurately, by his nose.

My Burberry Blush isn’t the first fragrance Kurkdjian has created with Burberry. He is responsible for the entire My Burberry collection, having created My Burberry EDP, My Burberry EDT and My Burberry Black, before turning his hand to My Burberry Blush.

The Muse

British actress Lily James returns to Burberry as the face of My Burberry Blush having fronted the campaigns for the previous fragrances in the collection. Known for her roles in the BBC adaptation of War & Peace and movies Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Disney’s Cinderella and the indie hit Baby Driver.

The Photographer

While Lily James was in front of the camera, famed German fashion photographer Juergen Teller was behind. Teller shot the campaign for My Burberry Blush but he also brought it to life in a short film to the soundtrack of Nina Simone’s I Put a Spell on You, performed by The Kills.
