THE BEST OF BRANDS

By using an eclectic range of cask types from around the world to mature Benriach spirit, layers of flavour are added to every expression.

The three travel retail exclusive expressions include Benriach Quarter Cask, Benriach Smoky Quarter Cask, and Benriach Triple Distilled Ten Year Old.

The story so far

A Speyside single malt Scotch Whisky as intriguing and extraordinary as Benriach could not have come to be without a unique whisky making heritage, dating from 1898, when founder John Duff built his distillery. Ruggedly beautiful, Benriach stands on the site of the old Riach farm in north Speyside, drawing water from the mineral-rich aquifer deep beneath the distillery.

Thanks to a long-standing tradition of distilling three styles of whisky; classic unpeated, Highland peated and triple distilled, together with an eclectic selection of casks from around the world, Benriach’s whisky makers are able to explore the full flavour possibilities of single malt, creating some of the richest, most multi-layered whiskies in Speyside.

This tradition continues today, under the guidance of Master Blender, Rachel Barrie. Benriach is the story of a hidden Speyside gem, quietly revealing its treasures to be discovered and savoured.

The Range

The Triple Distilled Ten is layered in glazed fruit, creamy vanilla and vibrant oak spice, finished with fruit and oak in perfect balance.

To produce the Quarter and Smoky Quarter Cask, smaller bespoke casks were used in the second maturation of the whiskies to elevate their fruit-forward character. The bespoke quarter casks give each a very distinctive flavour profile. In Quarter Cask it creates layers of glazed orchard fruit and rich vanilla, finishing with notes of ripe barley and oak spice. Smoky Quarter Cask adds layers of ripe fruit, fresh wood smoke and spiced vanilla, with finishing notes of mellow smoke and nutty oak.
