This season's trendiest, most festive cocktails bring flavours of gingerbread and citrus, sugary lemons, juicy berries, coffee and chocolate to your gatherings.

We've put together a perfect cocktail menu with something for everyone so that all you need to do is mix and mingle.

Here's what's on the menu:

 

St-Rémy Winter Punch

Ingredients:

  • 600ml St-Rémy XO
  • 1200ml distilled water
  • 100ml vanilla syrup
  • 40 dashes bitters
  • 200ml ginger bread syrup
  • 10 ginger slices
  • 5 cinnamon sticks

How to Make:

Into a pan, pour all the ingredients and heat to 30°C. Serve with the ladle into the punch glasses.

Makes 10 servings

Red Jubilee Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège
  • 20 ml Fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 20 ml Simple syrup
  • 1 Pinch Chinese five spice
  • 5 Dashes Peychaud bitters
  • 1 Star Anise & Cocktail Cherry

How to Make:

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Shake until well chilled. Step 3: Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.

Garnish with a cocktail cherry & a star anise

French 75

Ingredients:

  • 30ml HENDRICK’S GIN
  • 10ml Sugar Syrup
  • 10ml Lemon Juice
  • Top with Champagne

How to Make:

Add gin, sugar and lemon to a cocktail shaker.

Add ice, shake well and fine strain into a flute.

Top with champagne.

Santa Teresa 1796 right hand

Ingredients:

  • 40ml Santa Teresa 1796
  • 20ml Noilly Prat Rouge
  • 20ml Martini Bitter
  • 2 dashes Cacao Bitters

How to Make:

Combine all ingredients in mixing glass

Stir

Strain into chilled cocktail glass

Garnish with a Sherry

The Perky One

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml / 1.5 oz Belvedere Vodka
  • 20 ml / 0.75 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 Single Espresso
  • 5ml / ⅙ oz Sugar Syrup

How to Make:

Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake over cubed ice. Fine strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.

Winter in Jalisco Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml Patrón Silver
  • 22.5 ml Patrón XO Cafe
  • 15 ml Citrónge Orange Liqueur
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Barspoon toasted sesame oil
  • + Fresh kumquat slice for garnish

How to Make:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill.

Strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned glass.

Garnish with a slice of fresh kumquat.

Winter Apple Toddy

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Glenmorangie X
  • 75ml pressed apple juice
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 1 dessert spoon honey (to taste)
  • Garnish: Clove studded orange wheel, cinnamon stick and star anise

How to Make:

Pour ingredients (except whisky) into a saucepan and bring to a simmer on a low heat. Do not allow to boil.

Pour whisky into glass and top with hot ingredients

Godfather

Ingredients:

  • 25 ml Disaronno
  • 50 ml The Busker Blended Irish Whiskey
  • Orange peel

How to Make:

Pour over large ice ball and stir. Garnish with orange twist
