For more than seventy years, Dior have been redefining the way we express femininity through perfume. And for all of that time, the Miss Dior range has been an iconic inspiration to the world of fashion and beauty.

Originally named for Dior’s sister, Catherine, the story has it that as the launch of the perfume approached, Christian Dior still didn’t have a name for his new scent. Sitting in his studio pondering the question with his muse, Mitzah Bricard, Catherine arrived and was announced with the words “Here’s Miss Dior”. And with that simple introduction, a legend was born.

Seventy years later, Miss Dior has been given an olfactory reworking under the watchful eye of the brand’s first female creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri. Working closely with master perfumer, Francois Demachy, this updated Miss Dior has been designed around the classic Grasse Rose, woven through with rosewood to create a sensual fragrance that Demachy describes as “a declaration of love, to love”.

Fronted by the inimitable Natalie Portman, the face of Miss Dior since 2010, the brand’s latest film see’s Portman portraying a Miss Dior, very much in love.

“I think this fragrance really presents a more rebellious side of love.” She recently told Vogue magazine. “Miss Dior has always symbolised a strong and confident woman and I think this campaign in particular illustrates that side of her.”

Rebellious, iconic, classic this is a Miss Dior for a new generation and a fragrance that we’ll always love to love.
